Christopher Anderson

Christopher Anderson, LCSW, PhD, is a licensed clinical social worker who integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalysis, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness. He works with adolescents, adults, seniors, and couples.

He holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Southern Connecticut State University and a PhD in political science from the University of Minnesota. His experience includes time as a former college professor, outreach work with homeless individuals, school social work, and providing in‑home and outpatient psychotherapy.

Anderson draws on neurobiology, evolutionary psychology, and developmental psychology to situate personal struggles within broader social forces and uses a 'common factors' approach to tailor treatment to each client's goals.
