April Hansen

April Hansen, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping women tackle their complex relationship with food and emotional eating. She blends empathy, humor, and evidence-based techniques to guide clients toward a healthier relationship with eating.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in Family Psychology from Hardin-Simmons University, and brings over a decade of experience working with groups.

April is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and employs tapping to help clients work through stuck places. She is dedicated to helping women break free from the cycle of restricting and bingeing and supports clients to eat when they're hungry, stop when they're full, and enjoy foods without guilt.
