Debra Cannon

Debra Cannon is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor whose expertise spans addiction and mental health counseling for both adults and adolescents throughout Connecticut. Cannon works with people addressing mental health and addiction needs, including gambling addiction and its impact on families.

Cannon's academic journey began with a master's degree in Human Services and Addiction Counseling from Liberty University. Her experience includes managing clinical caseloads and providing supervision in case management and residential programming. She has significant experience working with people within the department of corrections, offering insights into the interplay between mental health, addiction, and the criminal justice system.

As a Clinically Certified Supervisor, Cannon guides and mentors other professionals, enhancing her comprehensive understanding of addiction and mental health treatment modalities. Her therapy approach emphasizes individualized care and a broad spectrum of experience, supporting clients in navigating challenges with compassion and expertise.
