Elizabeth Mays

Elizabeth Mays is a contract therapist who works with adolescents and adults facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and trauma. Mays offers bilingual counseling in English and Spanish, enhancing her ability to serve the diverse El Paso community.

Mays began her journey in mental health at Texas A&M University, earning a B.A. in Psychology. She completed her Master of Education in Counseling at Sam Houston State University in 2012. Her professional experience includes work in inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, and emergency placement shelters, providing her with a broad perspective on mental health care.

Her therapeutic approach is person centered and trauma informed, focusing on creating a safe and nurturing environment. Mays emphasizes the importance of acknowledging each client's experiences in therapy. Clients can expect sensitive and effective support tailored to their individual needs.
