Esmeralda Alvarez

Esmeralda Alvarez, MA, AMFT, is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist who brings a creative, vibrant approach to working with clients of all ages. She works with children, youth, couples, and families and blends playfulness with purposeful intervention to support engagement.

She completed undergraduate studies at Fresno Pacific University, earning a degree in Liberal Studies, and holds a Master’s in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. For younger clients she uses play therapy and art therapy, and with families, couples, and individuals she employs a solution-focused approach.

Esmeralda creates a supportive therapeutic atmosphere that helps clients identify strengths, envision goals, and develop collaborative strategies. She continues ongoing professional learning to provide relevant, client-centered care.
