Hany Ashamalla

Hany Ashamalla, MD, is a Board-Certified Diplomate in Psychiatry, Neurology and Brain Injury Medicine with more than two decades of domestic and international practice.

He holds special qualifications in Addiction Medicine and two Master's degrees in Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology. He offers expertise in psychopharmacology and medication management, working with adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and patients with special needs.

Dr. Ashamalla trained in the Psychiatry Residency program at the University of Southern California, serving as chief resident and training at Los Angeles County Hospital and USC Medical Center. He has provided care in private clinics and health systems such as Honor Health and Banner Health across inpatient, geriatric, ICU, medical floor, and observation units, managing diverse patients and complex comorbidities.
