Heather Jones

Heather Jones is a dual-licensed professional at Novo Counseling KC LLC, serving the mental health needs of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Jones works with clients across a broad age range, from toddlers to seniors, offering individual and family-oriented therapy.

Jones began her career in social work after earning her Master's degree from the University of Kansas in 2009. She has extensive experience working with vulnerable populations, including at-risk youth and their families, and has provided in-home mental health and crisis management services. Her work includes therapy for adolescents in residential treatment facilities and facilitating their transition back home.

Jones employs a comprehensive therapeutic approach, utilizing Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Parent Child Interaction Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing.
