Kaylan Hand

Kaylan Hand, LMFT, is Director at HC Counseling Augusta and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is also a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional. She practices through a systemic and multicultural lens and uses a trauma-informed approach when supporting clients.

Kaylan holds both an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy and was involved with the Women's and Genders Studies Program during college. She works with couples, individuals, and the LGBTQ Community, integrating each client’s cultural background into care.

Her personal experiences with depression, grief, and anxiety inform an empathetic style; she strives to meet clients where they are and provide a safe, judgment-free space while helping them sharpen tools for change.
