Kim's professional path has been diverse and enriching. After obtaining her BA in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, she pursued her Masters in Psychology and Counseling from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. This educational foundation set the stage for a career that would span various settings and populations. In Illinois, Kim gained valuable experience working at a homeless shelter in Chicago, a residential treatment center for adolescents, and a community mental health center before establishing her private practice.

A significant aspect of Kim's practice is her advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, a highly effective approach to marital counseling. For the past five years, Kim has been serving the Winter Haven community alongside her husband Mike.
