Mark Mortier

Mark Mortier, M.A., LPC, is Director of Christian Therapy at Genesis Counseling Center. He has over three decades of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor.

He specializes in addiction recovery — alcohol, drugs, sexual issues, internet use, and gaming — and works with men on relationship skills, emotional regulation, anger management, and preparation for couples counseling. In couples work he draws on Family Systems, Love and Respect concepts, and Marriage Builders materials.

He works with children and adolescents on the high-functioning end of the Autism Spectrum and uses psychological testing, often collaborating with schools and other professionals. His Christian faith is central to his work and informs a collaborative, values-centered approach with individuals, couples, and families.
