With a career spanning 15 years, Dr. Parker's approach is rooted in the belief that individuals possess the innate skills to overcome life's challenges, even in the face of the most difficult personal and relational issues.

Dr. Parker's journey in the field of therapy began with her Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2005. She further honed her expertise by earning a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 2009. Her academic pursuits laid the foundation for a diverse and impactful career, including a significant role at the Hospital for Special Care - Autism Center in Connecticut, where she practiced couples and family therapy.

Now based in Tallahassee, Dr. Parker's work extends beyond traditional therapy sessions. She conducts research on integrative healthcare and families affected by Autism, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Her specialties encompass a wide range of areas, including medical-mental health integration, high-conflict couples, infidelity, and families and couples affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

As an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, Dr. Parker not only supports clients but also contributes to the growth of her field by providing therapy for practicing clinicians. She strongly advocates for personal therapy as a crucial component of self-care for therapists and counselors, demonstrating her commitment to the well-being of both clients and colleagues in the mental health profession.

Dr. Parker's practice is characterized by its flexibility and accessibility. She offers telehealth services exclusively, currently available on Fridays and Saturdays. This format allows her to provide expert care while accommodating the diverse needs and schedules of her clients.
