Sarah Nyboer

Sarah's journey in mental health began at Aquinas College, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2016. She then pursued her Master's degree in Counselor Education: Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Michigan University, graduating in 2019. Her internship at a local non-profit serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence provided invaluable experience, leading to her employment as a therapist post-graduation.

This rich background has equipped Sarah with a unique perspective on human experiences, particularly in supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and survivors from all walks of life. Her ability to view clients through an intersectional lens allows for a deeper, more nuanced understanding of each person's struggles and strengths.

Sarah offers individual and family therapy for a wide age range, from children as young as 6 to adults up to 65 years old. While her specialties lie in trauma, divorce, and self-harm, she is confident in addressing a multitude of other mental health concerns.
