Tara Pennington

Tara Pennington, LMFT, has over eight years of experience in the mental health field. She holds a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and double majored in Psychology and Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Utah.

She is skilled in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and developed programs for families with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Tara co-founded Project Connection and serves in senior management and as a supervisor.

As a breast cancer survivor, she works with cancer patients and survivors, facilitates grief circles, and partners with a non-profit foundation supporting individuals affected by breast cancer. Her approach is strategic and flexible, tailoring methods to each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
