With a belief that every individual possesses the internal resources to address and solve their own problems, Dr. Wesley Robinson, Ph.D., LCSW, has dedicated over three decades to guiding clients towards unlocking their potential. As both a licensed clinical social worker and clinical psychologist, Dr. Robinson brings a unique blend of expertise to his practice at the Center for Psychotherapy (CFP), where he serves as the Executive Director.

Dr. Robinson's journey in mental health began with his Master of Social Work from California State University, Sacramento in 1980. His pursuit of knowledge led him to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology from the California Graduate School of Psychology in 1993, solidifying his commitment to providing comprehensive care for his clients.

Throughout his extensive career, Dr. Robinson has honed his skills in working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, families, and couples. His versatility allows him to adapt his approach to meet the specific needs of each individual or group he encounters. Dr. Robinson's toolkit is further enhanced by his specialized training in Ericksonian hypnosis and the Gottman method for couples therapy, enabling him to offer innovative and effective therapeutic interventions.
