MentalHealth.com Gives Back

At MentalHealth.com, we are a health technology company dedicated to guiding people toward self-understanding and connection. We believe that truly healthy communities are built on mutual support, and we’re proud to give back by donating a portion of our revenue to charities that create positive, lasting change.

Empathy is at the heart of everything we do. Having experienced mental health challenges firsthand, we understand the importance of compassionate support. Whether it means helping someone find the right therapist or simply being present during difficult times, we embrace each person as a valued member of our community.

Giving is a Responsibility We Take to Heart

The Maryland Chapter of The TEARS Foundation

We believe that giving is a responsibility and not an option. When deciding which organizations to support, we asked our team who they wanted to uplift and why. By honoring causes with personal meaning, we ensure our contributions are guided by shared values and create a genuine impact.

America’s Warrior Partnership

Dan Rivette, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, is a West Point graduate who served as a rifle and scout platoon leader in Iraq. His military experience exemplifies the importance he places on organizations that provide veterans with life-saving mental health services. America’s Warrior Partnership connects local veteran-serving organizations with the appropriate resources and services needed to support veterans, their families, and caregivers at every stage of veterans’ lives. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for veterans by empowering local communities to serve them proactively and holistically before a crisis occurs.

Benzodiazepine Information Coalition

Patrick Nagle, Co-Founder, is committed to raising awareness about the dangers of benzodiazepine dependence – something he personally experienced for eight years and affects millions of people across the globe. He champions the Benzodiazepine Information Coalition, an organization dedicated to raising awareness around prescribed benzodiazepine injury; providing a voice to the patients who are suffering, and facilitating research and access to competent, evidence-based medical care for those impacted by benzodiazepine-induced disability.

Holding Space Foundation

Simone Paget, Senior Editor, enthusiastically supports organizations that provide mental health services to underserved populations. Statistics show that the stigma surrounding mental health and therapy often prevents Black women from seeking the help they need. Holding Space Foundation was founded to give Black women and girls the resources to look after their mental health. The foundation provides group healing spaces for Black women and girls, training for mental health professionals, and community education with a focus on prevention.

The Maryland Chapter of The TEARS Foundation

Helena Georgiou, Co-Founder and Director, is honored to support an organization that helps families who’ve experienced pregnancy loss. The Maryland Chapter of The TEARS Foundation offers financial assistance to bereaved families who need to make final arrangements for their baby, while providing ongoing support to rebuild their lives. Millions of people experience miscarriage every year. Early pregnancy loss is a shocking and traumatic event and often induces an intense period of emotional distress.

National Alliance for Eating Disorders

Abhilash Patel, Venture Advisor, is proud to support non-profit organizations that offer resources to the 28 million people in the United States who will have an eating disorder at some point in their life. The National Alliance for Eating Disorders provides referrals, education, and support for all individuals experiencing eating disorders and their loved ones. Since October 2000, they have worked to raise awareness; eliminate secrecy and stigma; promote access to care; and support those susceptible to, currently experiencing, and recovering from eating disorders.
