Co-Founder, DirectorTeams
Patrick Nagle is an accomplished tech entrepreneur and venture investor. Today, driven by a combination of professional expertise and personal experience, he is dedicated to advancing MentalHealth.com.
Patrick's entrepreneurial journey began with RateMyProfessors.com, a platform that helps students research colleges and rate professors. Notably, he not only invested in the venture but also served as CEO. Launched in 2001, the site quickly became the nation's top college website before its acquisition by Viacom.
Recognizing the value of digital real estate and drawing from personal experience, Patrick acquired Rehab.com in 2018 and created a rehabilitation booking platform. As the founder, first investor, and CEO, he led the company to help nearly a million people access rehabilitation services before its acquisition.
More recently in 2022, Patrick led the acquisition of MentalHealth.com, recognizing the universal need for a comprehensive mental health platform. As co-founder and first investor, he brings two decades of experience in information technology to the venture.
In less than two years, MentalHealth.com reached record-high website traffic, secured venture capital funding, and successfully launched its platform. Soon after, Patrick led the acquisition of MentalHelp.net, launched the MentalHealth.com Wellness Portal and Mental Health Network, and acquired PsychGuides.com, a longstanding provider of mental health resources.
To oversee growth and provide strategic guidance, Patrick assembled prominent advisory teams to support leadership in advancing key initiatives. These include the Venture Advisory Team, featuring Brian Trisler, Co-Founder of A Place for Mom; Fred Joyal and Gary Saint-Denis, Co-Founders of 1-800-DENTIST; Abhilash Patel, Founder of Within Health; and Jeff Smith, Co-Founder and CEO of Supermind Platforms.
With the support of Co-Founder and CEO Daniel Rivette, Patrick established the Clinical Affairs Team, including Co-Founder and Clinical Affairs Director Dr. Jesse Hanson, Ph.D.; Clinical Care Director Dr. Carlos Protzel, Psy.D.; and Community Director Dr. Susanna Calvert, Ph.D. He also formed the Public Oversight Committee, with the involvement from Ryan Hampton.
