Her graduate internship at The Renfrew Center of North Carolina provided her with specialized training in treating eating disorders, working as both a group and individual therapist in an intensive outpatient program.

Allison's expertise extends beyond clinical practice. She spent four years as a researcher for the Department of Neuropsychiatry Division of Biological Research at the University of South Carolina, focusing on studies involving Schizophrenia and Addictions. This research experience informs her evidence-based approach to therapy, allowing her to integrate cutting-edge findings into her practice.

In private practice since 2018, Allison has refined her skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrative modalities. She specializes in treating Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge eating disorders, and EDNOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified).
