Amber Gattie

Amber Gattie, LPC/Intern, practices at NewPoint of View Counseling and creates an inclusive, accepting, and judgment-free space for clients. She specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues and supports those facing life transitions, individuals within the LGBTQ community, and those struggling with family dysfunction.

She is actively training in both Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. With hands-on experience with diverse cultures and populations, she focuses on teaching skills in interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness to help clients reprogram negative thought patterns and manage difficult emotions.
