Ashhar Bhurgri

Ashhar Bhurgri, MD, is a board-certified general psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Wellness Center in Bakersfield, California. He specializes in medication management for anxiety disorders, mood disorders, psychotic disorders, opioid use disorder, and adolescent and adult ADHD.

He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio (UTHSCSA) and was named best resident of the year for his PGY-4 training year. In clinical practice he provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) services.
