Avery Berry

Avery Berry, M.ED., LPC, A-CBT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the Clinical Services Coordinator at the Samaritan Counseling Center. He holds a Master's of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University.

He works with both adults and adolescents (13 and up), specializing in major life transitions and providing treatment for trauma, PTSD, feelings of self-doubt and low self-worth, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and panic disorder. He uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy in his practice.

Avery emphasizes openness and empathy to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard and collaborates with them to build skills and address specific goals.
