Charna Mintz

Dr. Charna Mintz, BCBA-D, Chief Clinical Officer at Action Behavior Centers, specializes in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and autism intervention. She earned master's and doctoral degrees in psychology from the University of Nevada Reno (2001, 2003) and has been a BCBA since 2004.

She served as chief behavior analyst at a large adult residential facility, worked as a school consultant, and was clinical director for a private autism early intervention program. She later served as Executive Director of a multi-state autism services organization and as Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Pacific Northwest until 2021, and now oversees services across Texas, Arizona, and Colorado.

At Action Behavior Centers she oversees 1:1 ABA therapy with individualized treatment plans created by BCBAs, using an assent framework that focuses on increasing replacement behaviors, teaching developmentally appropriate skills, and reducing challenging behaviors.
