About
Chelsea Whitby, MHC-I, is a Mental Health Counselor Intern at Ogden Center for Change. She holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University, is pursuing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands, and brings 20 years of experience working with students and families.
Her areas of experience include parenting and family life issues; disability and neurodiversity support; anxiety management; educational concerns including homeschooling; relationship and communication challenges; spiritual abuse and religious trauma; women's issues; chronic pain and illness management; childhood trauma; and mood and anxiety regulation. She has advanced training in Pain Reprocessing Therapy and is a qualified Learning to Breathe instructor.
Chelsea uses a trauma-informed, gentle, embodied, and self-compassionate approach, integrating evidence-based methods to help clients identify needs, regulate emotions, and make choices aligned with their values.
