Chris Jakub

Chris Jakub is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over two decades of experience serving in the inner cities of Cleveland as a police officer. Jakub works with first responders, military personnel and their families, and people dealing with severe trauma and PTSD.

Jakub's background in law enforcement provides him with firsthand insight into the challenges faced by first responders. Prior to joining The Traveling Therapist LLC, he honed his skills as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor at Advanced Psychotherapy Services for six years, focusing on complex trauma and Schizoid disorders, including Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID).

Jakub employs a practical approach to therapy, informed by his high-stress environment experience. He is also a Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider, which broadens his ability to address diverse mental health concerns. Clients can expect targeted support tailored to their specific needs.
