Christine Knorr

Christine Knorr is a Clinical Director and founder of Christine Knorr Psychotherapy Associates. She works with people affected by eating disorders, trauma, and mood and anxiety disorders, creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and respected.

Knorr's extensive experience includes outpatient care, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Partial Hospitalization for adults, teens, and children with eating disorders. She has also provided intensive therapy for teens with dual diagnosis and behavioral problems, and counseling for pre-teens in school settings. As co-founder of the Rockland County Eating Disorders Task Force, she demonstrates leadership in the field.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic and individualized, employing Family Based Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and solution-focused methods.
