Crystal Thomas

Crystal Thomas, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who embraces a queer perspective in transformative therapy at City Counseling. She brings identity-informed practice to her clinical work.

She blends psychodynamic perspectives with 3rd wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She specializes in trauma, attachment, gender, and sexuality and offers individual and dyadic therapy sessions.

Her work begins by exploring earliest experiences and relationships to understand current challenges, then she helps clients reshape living strategies that no longer serve them. She welcomes adults with diverse identities and tailors care to each person’s strengths and goals.
