Dan Compton

Dan Compton, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor whose work focuses on grief and loss, informed by his personal experience losing loved ones to cancer, suicide, and stroke. That experience deeply informed his understanding of grief and its many facets.

He facilitates the "Living with Loss" 10-week closed group at Paramount Behavioral Health, co-facilitated by Christene Cernick RN, BSN, CCE. The group provides a safe and supportive environment for individuals processing recent or longstanding loss.

Dan brings warmth and understanding to his work and aligns with Paramount Behavioral Health's philosophy of reducing suffering, improving overall well-being, and increasing happiness. He supports participants in exploring therapeutic coping mechanisms, easing stress, and building comfort in relationships as they navigate grief.
