Dave Matheson

Dave Matheson, Ph.D., LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education & Supervision. He also holds a Master's of Art in Clinical Counseling and specializes in Narrative Therapy, a modality that helps separate individuals from the problems they face.

He works with children, teens, and adults and serves as the Loveland Clinical Supervisor and Internship Coordinator at Forge Counseling Collective, bringing both clinical and supervisory experience to his practice.

Dr. Matheson emphasizes that "the person is not the problem, the problem is the problem," and uses collaborative Narrative Therapy to help clients rewrite their stories, build new identities, and increase resilience.
