Guillermo Gonzalez

Guillermo Gonzalez, PhD, Psychologist, holds a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and is trained in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

He completed a pre-doctoral internship in clinical child psychology at the National Crime Victims Research and Treatment Center and Department of Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in medical psychology and behavioral health technology.

Offering services in both English and Spanish to the border community, he practices from a values-based, behavioral perspective and treats trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, and workplace issues, emphasizing individual growth as the foundation for broader relational and family health.
