John Daniel became a part of Dakota Counseling Institute in July 2014. He earned his bachelor's degree from Dakota Wesleyan University, where he double-majored in Psychology and English. After completing his undergraduate studies, he obtained a graduate degree in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University. John is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mental Health (LPC-MH) and a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). He has received specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for treating trauma-related concerns. In his clinical practice, he frequently utilizes Adlerian and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) approaches. His primary areas of focus include depression, attachment difficulties, PTSD, trauma, and co-occurring disorders.
