Jennifer Barth

Dr. Stuart Sugarman is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 30 years of experience practicing in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He trained at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Sugarman served as Associate Chairman and Clinical Chief of Psychiatry at the University of Connecticut Medical School, earning numerous teaching awards and publishing extensively.

Specializing in psychodynamic and interpersonal psychotherapy, he treats adults with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, including couples and family therapy. He also prescribes medications when appropriate, emphasizing their use only when clearly effective and well-tolerated.
