Dr. Jesse Hanson, Ph.D.

Dr. Jesse Hanson is the Clinical Director and Co-Founder of MentalHealth.com. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, with a specialization in somatic psychology and neuropsychology, along with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Santa Barbara Graduate Institute. With over 20 years of clinical experience, Dr. Hanson has dedicated his career to helping individuals heal and grow through an integrative approach to mental health.
In addition to his academic background, he has spent more than two decades training with holistic teachers, exploring the mind-body connection and its role in natural healing.
Beyond his work with MentalHealth.com, Dr. Hanson serves as Chief Clinical Officer at Ātman Retreats and Interim Clinical Director at the Ryzio Institute. He is also a Clinical Advisor at HOLOS and appeared for four seasons as an interventionist on A&E’s acclaimed documentary series Intervention.
