Jonathan West-Gray

Jonathan West-Gray, LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor, specializes in religious trauma and religious abuse. He works with LGBTQIA2S+ individuals negatively impacted by religious abuse and trauma.

He holds a BS in psychology and MS in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Western Oregon University. He utilizes minority stress theory to explore how religious experiences intersect with other aspects of identity. He typically begins with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and offers Art Therapy and Receptive Music Therapy.

He treats depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD-related issues, and trauma-related disorders. He tailors methods to each client's needs and helps deconstruct internalized messages and negative core beliefs from religious experiences.
