Jonathan West-Gray

Jonathan West-Gray is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with people healing from religious trauma and abuse. West-Gray utilizes minority stress theory to help clients examine their places within larger societal systems, focusing on how religious experiences intersect with identity and social structures.

West-Gray holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Western Oregon University. His comprehensive training equips him to address mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD-related issues, and trauma-related disorders. His graduate studies led him to focus on assisting LGBTQIA2S+ people impacted by religious trauma.

In therapy, West-Gray tailors methods to each client, often starting with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He incorporates Internal Family Systems, Polyvagal-Informed Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
