Kathy Chastain

Kathy Chastain is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified Daring Way Facilitator. She works with people navigating issues of abuse, addiction, and abandonment, integrating Biblical principles with evidence based psychological theories.

Chastain's diverse career began in the sports nutrition and fitness industry, where she owned national retail stores and produced Fresno's first NPC bodybuilding show. Her transition to therapy included significant experiences as a graduate intern with female felony parolees and volunteering at Tulare County's Juvenile Justice Detention Facility. She founded Genesis House, Tulare County's first Licensed Runaway & Homeless Youth Shelter.

In her practice, Chastain employs Shame Resilience Theory and is a Court Involved Therapist. Clients can expect a focus on personal transformation and the discovery of self-worth. Her approach combines spiritual principles with practical strategies, fostering an environment for meaningful change.
