Krista Pemberton

Krista Ann Pemberton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience providing individual, family, and group therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from George Washington University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Alaska Anchorage with an emphasis in lifespan development and behavioral healthcare.

Krista has worked in both medical and private practice settings, including several years at Providence Alaska Medical Center and more than a decade in private practice. She counsels clients on a wide range of concerns including grief and loss, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, autism spectrum disorder, family violence, life transitions, infertility, and chronic illness.

Her therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based interventions such as crisis counseling, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), EMDR, and psychodynamic methods.
