About
Kristina Villareal, LPC-MHSP, has nearly a decade of therapeutic experience. She specializes in working with individuals who have extensive trauma histories and addresses suicidality, psychosis, and dual diagnosis.
She earned a BA in Human Services from National Louis University and an MA in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University (focus on at-risk youth), and is studying Forensic Psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She has worked in residential facilities, foster care, and school-based therapy, primarily with adolescents, and now includes couples and family therapy.
Her trauma-informed, client-centered approach addresses underlying factors to build long-term resilience. She offers face-to-face and telehealth services for individuals age 10 and up, couples, and families, and provides an income-based sliding scale.
