Carlos Protzel, Psy.D.
Carlos Protzel is a licensed clinical psychologist and licensed clinical social worker with more than 25 years of experience delivering integrative mental health care. His work has spanned community mental health, addiction treatment, university counseling and private practice. A PsyPact-certified provider, Protzel offers telehealth services across state lines from his hybrid practice in Marina del Rey, Calif.
His therapeutic approach combines neuroscience, evidence-based methods and humanistic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, somatic experiencing and structural family therapy. He is a former adjunct faculty member at the University of Southern California.
