Leanne Thompson

Leanne Thompson is a therapist who works with clients ages 9 and up, addressing depressive and mood disorders, trauma, and stressor-related issues. She offers individual, couples, family, and group therapy, with specialized training in substance use and behavioral addiction treatment.

Thompson earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walsh University in 2021 and a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University in 2017. During her graduate studies, she served as Co-President of Chi Sigma Iota - Alpha Mu, an honors society for counseling excellence.

Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Thompson uses this technique to help clients process traumatic experiences. Her approach is collaborative, focusing on mutual respect and empowerment. Clients can expect a supportive environment, whether through telehealth, in person, or hybrid sessions, where they can explore challenges and develop coping strategies.
