Lindsay DeHaas

Lindsay DeHaas, MSW, LISW, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who specializes in trauma treatment and has expertise in the Instinctual Trauma Response (ITR) model. ITR is a brief, intensive therapy utilizing directive forms of play or art therapy to help organize and re-code trauma memories.

She has provided direct care as a social worker and mental health clinician in home, community, and office environments and works with children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, and adults. Her clinical work addresses PTSD, child abuse and neglect, adoption and foster care issues, ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and parenting concerns.

Lindsay uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach, drawing on Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to tailor treatment. For clients who desire it, she can integrate faith into the therapeutic setting and focuses on helping clients feel seen, heard, known, and accepted as they work toward healing and growth.
