Lisa Cole

Lisa Cole, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She holds a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher.

She has worked with college students, survivors of sexual harassment and abuse, and people from marginalized communities. Her clinical work addresses addiction, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, interpersonal violence, suicidal ideation, and personality disorders.

Trained in Polyvagal Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative Therapy, she centers sessions on unconditional positive regard and creating a safe space where clients can deconstruct painful narratives, practice self-compassion, and pursue self-identified goals. She is not currently accepting new clients; her rate is $110 per session, and she accepts Aetna, United, Cigna, and Excellus.
