Lyle Gibbens

Lyle Gibbens is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who helps people, couples, and families navigate life's challenges with compassion and expertise. Gibbens works with adolescents and their families, addressing communication difficulties and complex family dynamics, while offering a faith-based perspective for those who seek it.

Gibbens began his journey in mental health after earning a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2007. With over three decades as a public educator, he is uniquely positioned to work effectively with adolescents. Since 2011, he has expanded his expertise to include certification in treating sexual addictions.

His therapeutic approach combines cognitive behavioral therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and family systems theory. Couples benefit from his use of the PREPARE/ENRICH assessments to enhance relationship dynamics.
