Madison Barbor

Madison Barbor, PLPC, NCC, is a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor who integrates trauma-focused and relational-cultural perspectives in her clinical work. She uses EMDR alongside expressive arts and play therapy to address material that can be difficult for clients to put into words.

Madison creates a safe, affirming space and brings lived experience as a queer and nonbinary therapist who is neurodivergent to her practice at Creative Counseling and Wellness. She works with adults and children, tailoring interventions to developmental and identity-specific needs.

Her approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and identity-affirming, emphasizing clients' strengths while teaching practical skills to manage symptoms and support change.
