Maria Krzecka

Maria Krzecka, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with five years of experience as a therapist. She specializes in anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, and complex grief.

She uses CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, rational emotive behavior therapy, art therapy, Gestalt techniques, and mindfulness in an integrative, individualized approach. She is fluent in Polish and English and offers in-person and telehealth sessions.

Her background includes work with indigenous women in Costa Rica and Guatemala; assisted the homeless and those with AIDS and drug addictions in Birmingham; helped young mothers find safe shelter.
