Maria Krzecka

From the jungles of Costa Rica to the streets of Birmingham, Maria Krzecka's journey to becoming a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is as unique as her approach to therapy. Driven by a childhood passion for ending suffering, Maria has dedicated her life to helping others navigate their most challenging moments.

With five years of experience as a therapist, Maria specializes in a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, trauma, relationship issues, and complex grief. Her diverse skill set extends to premarital and marriage counseling, making her a versatile practitioner capable of addressing various client needs.

Maria's therapeutic approach is as multifaceted as her experience. She employs a rich blend of techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), person-centered therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and rational emotive behavior therapy. She also incorporates art therapy, Gestalt techniques, and mindfulness practices, creating a truly integrative approach tailored to each client's unique needs.

Fluent in both Polish and English, Maria brings a multicultural perspective to her practice.
