Maria Krzecka

Maria Krzecka is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps clients navigate mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, ADHD, trauma, and complex grief. She also works with relationship issues and provides premarital and marriage counseling.

Krzecka holds five years of experience as a therapist. Her professional journey includes working with indigenous women in Costa Rica and Guatemala, as well as assisting the homeless and those struggling with AIDS and drug addictions in Birmingham. These experiences have enriched her compassionate approach to therapy.

Her therapeutic style is integrative, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, person centered therapy, and mindfulness practices.
