Marren Onyalo

Dr. Marren A. Onyalo is a double board-certified Nurse Practitioner at Desert Sky Counseling Services in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Onyalo works with children and adults, addressing both physical and mental health needs through holistic healthcare solutions.

Onyalo began her healthcare journey with an Associates Nursing degree in 2009, followed by a Bachelor's in 2013. She earned a Masters in Nursing specializing in family practice from Tennessee State University in 2015. She completed a post-graduate certification as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in 2021 and earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2023, both from New Mexico State University.

Onyalo's dual certification enables her to provide comprehensive care. Clients can expect a patient centered approach that encourages active participation in their wellbeing. Her practice is informed by the philosophy that personal happiness is a personal responsibility.
