Melissa Glass

Melissa Glass, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is an occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy. She earned her MS in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook University in May 2020 after undergraduate studies at SUNY Cortland.

She gained clinical experience at New York Presbyterian's outpatient facility in Flushing, Queens, rehabilitating post-surgical orthopedic patients and later worked with the geriatric population in assisted living facilities on Long Island. Her hand therapy practice developed at an outpatient facility in Riverhead, where she treated chronic and acute orthopedic conditions and crafted custom-made orthotics.

Now a full-time team member at ProCare Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy, Melissa combines her technical skills as a Certified Hand Therapist with a focus on patients' physical and mental well-being, centering care on what is meaningful to each individual.
