Melissa Tihin

Dr. Melissa Tihin is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the founder of Central Valley Family Therapy in Fresno, California. She works with people, couples, and families, with a focus on perinatal mental health and family therapy.

A native of California, Tihin completed her bachelor's degree in communications at the University of California, San Diego, in 2003. She earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012 and a Doctorate in Couples and Family Therapy from The California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in 2017.

Tihin is certified in Perinatal Mental Health and Infant-Preschooler Mental Health. She utilizes Emotionally Focused Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to address mental health concerns.
