Melissa Weinstein

Melissa Weinstein, Graduate Level Intern, provides child and teen counseling at Wise Family Wellness. She is pursuing her master's in clinical mental health counseling at The Chicago School in Washington, D.C., and holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from George Mason University.

She draws on hands-on experience as an assistant teacher at a Montessori school, where she worked with children ranging from 18 months to 12 years old, and brings that developmental perspective to her clinical work. At Wise Family Wellness she supports young clients as they navigate daily stressors and developmental challenges.

Her approach centers on creating a judgment-free environment where children and teens can express thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and build resilience.
