Michael Behen

Michael Behen, PhD, is a Licensed Psychologist and Founder and Director of The Imagine Center for Psychological Health. He focuses on neuropsychological assessment and care for developmental, neurologic, and psychiatric conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, language disorders, Sturge-Weber Syndrome, and Tourette's Disorder.

He is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Neurology at Wayne State University and an NIH-funded neuroscience researcher at the Children's Hospital of Michigan (CHM) Translational Imaging Center, where he connects clinical practice with research.

Dr. Behen employs comprehensive neurocognitive and behavioral evaluations alongside advanced multimodal brain imaging and emphasizes a strength-based and person-centered approach, working to translate research into accessible, empirically supported services.
