Nicole Malene is a graduate intern therapist working towards her master's in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. Malene works with clients facing anxiety, chronic pain, life transitions, stress and burnout, and relationship challenges.
With a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Exercise Health Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Malene's interest in holistic wellness began early. Her experiences include working in a health center in Nicaragua and studying restorative yoga therapy in India, which have contributed to her multicultural perspective on healing.
Malene's therapeutic approach incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, positive psychology, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. Her sessions offer a compassionate and somatic experience, utilizing awareness practices and breathing techniques. Clients can expect to develop greater body awareness and emotional regulation, fostering resilience and self-awareness.
