Nicole Malene, B.S., is a Graduate Intern Therapist working toward a master's in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University. She offers a holistic approach that blends Eastern and Western methods.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Exercise Health Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and studied restorative yoga therapy in India, experiences that inform her multicultural practice. Her training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), positive psychology, and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
Nicole specializes in anxiety, chronic pain, life transitions, stress and burnout, and relationship challenges. In sessions she draws on somatic awareness practices, breathing techniques, and acceptance and compassion training to support body awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience, and is preparing to begin accepting new clients in Fall 2024.
