With a passion for working with people around trauma, relationships, and identity, Nicole Scrivano, LMFT, brings a unique and compassionate approach to her role as Director of Life Coaching and Therapy (LCAT). Since joining the practice in 2017, Nicole has dedicated herself to creating a space where healing and growth flourish for individuals and their relational systems.
Nicole's therapeutic philosophy is rooted in the belief that curiosity, authenticity, and compassion are key to co-creating an environment conducive to personal development. Her approach is tailored to each individual, recognizing that everyone's journey is distinct. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Nicole's expertise spans a wide range of therapeutic methods. She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), among other techniques. However, what sets Nicole apart is her commitment to utilizing an intersectional, feminist approach with all her clients. Nicole's educational background includes a Masters degree with a specialty in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Connecticut, which she obtained in 2013. This strong foundation, combined with her years of experience, allows her to offer expert care in areas such as trauma recovery, relationship counseling, and identity exploration.
In her role at LCAT, Nicole not only serves as a therapist but also as a leader, shaping the practice's approach to client care.
