As a licensed clinical social worker and registered yoga teacher, Pamela specializes in helping survivors rebuild trust and safety within their bodies through an integrative approach that combines somatic exercises, breathwork, and relational skills.

Pamela's expertise spans a wide range of areas, including sexual trauma, childhood experiences of abuse, adjustment challenges, domestic violence, disordered eating and body image issues, identity development with LGBTQ+ individuals, gender affirmation care, anxiety, and depression. Her holistic methodology is designed to help clients tolerate sensory and emotional experiences, cultivating a compassionate relationship with their bodies.

With over 16 years of experience, Pamela has honed her skills through extensive training in trauma, eating disorders, self-injurious behaviors, LGBTQ+ issues, and domestic violence. She incorporates a variety of evidence-based modalities into her practice, including Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), and Solution-Focused Therapy techniques.

Pamela's educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. Her diverse professional experience encompasses work in higher education, nonprofit organizations, community psychiatry, federally qualified health programs, and private practice, providing her with a broad perspective on mental health care.
